As a champion in the startup scene in Perth and a supporter of local events, SpacetoCo has continued to grow and kick goals since their inception in 2017. Now, with a strong team that has grown from three co-founders to a community of passionate humans, SpacetoCo are able to share space and connect communities across Australia and New Zealand.

Flashback to 2018, when SpacetoCo was part of our second accelerator cohort, they were in the midst of a growth period and taking in all the learnings around them. “The experience of learning and growing with other founders who were just like us and striving to grow their company. We didn't have a connection to many other startups before the program so I'd say that the people and connection was the richest part of it and that continues today.” Jeremy Hurst, co-founder of SpacetoCo shared.

“Before Plus Eight we were probably a sapling, after Plus Eight we had learnt a lot but hadn't been able to execute on everything so we were like a very small tree. And now, we are bearing fruit and each year the crop grows exponentially bigger! We are growing in New Zealand and significantly grown in the local government market.”

With Riff, powered by Spacecubed, now the home for the SpacetoCo team, they're able to continue growing their community in the heart of Perth CBD. “Through Plus Eight, Spacecubed became the place we worked. We grew accustomed to the quiet work environment, city location for meetings, and bumping into the many connections we had made through the program.” Jeremy shared. “Plus it's the little touches like access to a phone booth for private calls, blistering fast wifi, and the complimentary fruit bowl (valuable sustenance for anyone building a startup). We are a remote work-from-home company but Riff is our home in the city and it's a nice home to have.”

Now, in 2021, SpacetoCo is bringing each of our flexible workspaces, meeting rooms and event spaces onto their platform to expand our reach and build on both of our communities. “We’ve always wanted to work with Spacecubed and are so excited this is now happening - we hope it helps people experience Spacecubed coworking in a flexible way and saves the team on admin time.” Jeremy shared.

After being live for as little as a week, Spacecubed has already secured our first few bookings through the SpacetoCo platform and are helping busy business owners, freelancers and individuals access hot desking on demand.
