How did your business journey begin?
DC Alliance, a Singapore-based company, acquired Pier DC in Perth Western Australia in September 2020. The data centre was subsequently renamed to DCA|PIER, we specialise in the development of tier certified colocation and data centre facilities.

What are you working on at the moment?
Our vision is to be the leading owner-operated data centre business in the Asia Pacific. We achieve this through our engineering-led solutions, personalised services and data centre lifecycle management. DC Alliance is currently working towards developing our product suite to provide our customers with more diverse solutions from colocation through to private cloud, allowing us to cater from start-up to enterprise level.

What do you love about being a part of the Spacecubed community?
At DC Alliance we pride ourselves on our local focus to Western Australian businesses, through offering curated solutions with our partners. We love being a part of the Spacecubed community, as we believe that their very community-oriented business aligns with our business initiatives. We are delighted that we can provide the Spacecubed community with great deals.

Can you share with us one of your favourite success stories?
DC Alliance celebrated our one-year anniversary in September of last year. 2021 was an amazing year for our organisation starting during a pandemic and acquiring our first data centre transaction virtually during lockdown. Last Year, DC Alliance announced our strategic alliance with DXN Ltd which will expand our data centre network across Australia. DC Alliance is proud to be a preferred supplier of the WA Local Government Association (WALGA), our organisation has long served government organisations. After a successful launch year DC Alliance is looking forward to the future.

If you needed to, how have you adapted post COVID-19?
DC Alliance has been very fortunate throughout COVID-19 to not have our business operations dramatically impacted. As a tier certified Data Centre our amazing staff were able to assist clients who needed access to the data hall remotely. Through the nature of our business we were also able to work from home or in the office following social distancing requirements. As a Singapore-based company we were able to adapt to the effects of COVID-19 through utilising applications such as Microsoft Teams to conduct our meetings with our executives that are based in Singapore.
