Noisy Guts

Noisy Guts is an early stage med-tech company based in Perth, who using machine learning to decode gut noises and have created a wearable device to help individuals improve their gut health. In late December 2019, Noisy Guts was one of eight medical projects nationally, and the only one in WA, to be awarded funding under the Federal Government’s $22.3 million BioMedical Translation Bridge program.

Wide Open Agriculture Ltd (WOA) is a Regenerative Food and Farming company based in Western Australia's Wheatbelt, who are working to build a new food and farming system to make a healthier world. Fashion startup, Keeper Denim are working to merge sustainability, with ethics and style. Every pair of their jeans, is ethically made in Australia from sustainable materials, designed to reduce waste and minimise their environmental footprint.

Focused on developing in-paddock, production focused, disruptive agricultural technologies that benefit growers and the agricultural industry, Laconik are making waves across Australia. Early in 2019, founders Darren Hughes and Wayne Pluske met with 120 potential investors before securing investment and matching it with a government grant!

OncoRes Medical

Having recently taken out the AusBiotech and Johnson & Johnson Innovation Industry

Excellence Emerging Company of the Year Award in 2019, OncoRes Medical is developing a handheld imaging tool and console to help surgeons better identify cancerous breast tissue, reducing the need for follow-up surgery with a 95% success rate in recent trials. With $4.5million in investment raised to date this WA based company is set up to achieve bigs things in 2020.

Tiller Rides

Three years and three prototypes later, Tiller Rides are set to revolutionise streets. After recently running an equity crowdfunding campaign to raise the capital needed to set up the production line and expand Tiller Rides across Australia, an incredible $1.067million was raised!
